Morocco is not a place you understand from a bus window.
The real thing happens in a home kitchen in the medina, in a market stall where the vendor knows your name, at a table where someone passes you food before you've asked for it. It happens slowly, generously, and almost always around a shared meal.
That's what I came here to be part of.
I live and work in Marrakesh, leading food and culture experiences for visiting groups who want to see Morocco the way locals actually live it. Most of my groups come from North America — universities, organizations, and teams whose people leave changed in ways they didn't anticipate when they booked the trip.
Some come for the food. Most leave with something they didn't expect.
This site is where I write about what life and work actually look like here — the full version, not just the highlight reel. Some of what I share is public. Some is only for the people who already know why I'm here.
If someone pointed you to this site, you're in the right place. Look around.
